By: Carla F. Lamerez Learning about our surroundings and bodies helps us develop as children. We study the larger society and actionable steps at school. At work, we gain knowledge about the neighborhood, how we may improve society, and how others can use our efforts. But occasionally we develop the habit of assuming things and failing to learn. Sometimes, as we get older, we lose the excitement of trying something new. We may keep that joy, though, if we look forward to learning something new. Learning demonstrates interaction with the activity and awareness of it. Brain function improves with awareness. The process of learning is continuous and never ends. Knowledge and skill acquisition is a continuous process that occurs in a variety of contexts, such as the classroom, the family, and the job.
